Here is a sequence of screenshots showing Traffic Alaska 142 returning to base after calling in at several Alaskan airports:-

To be honest Peter.. I'd have had ATC divert anything that looks so similar to a 'Dockyard Omelette' but a nice sequence nontheless ;)

Hi Dave,

I rather like these Alaska special liveries...especially that one in the last picture with the Salmon along the side. I also particularly like this model for Traffic purposes as it uses both flaps and leading edge slats for take-off :)

I have to admit that BEA FJ on the Trident in the last shot does look a tad too conservative in that sort of company

Great screenshots and a lovely video, Peter. I presume these are WoAI aircraft. The standard is quite amazing now and with working flaps for take-off coupled with AI Blast there's no real need for you to pilot anything any more! Just sit back and watch

Thanks for those, they were very enjoyable.

Ian :)

Thanks for the comments gents...Yes Ian a lot of my AI is WoAI...As I install them, I deactivate previous PAI versions of the same airline and as good models appear I substitute them into my McLeland Field Traffic files. Yes, I enjoy watching the Traffic at base and now with Traffic View Board I just leap aboard one of them and fly their entire route with them till they return to base. Whereas before I could only stay with them till about top of climb and then I would be dumped back at base. I'm seeing some unusual things in this way...For instance on the second call at Wrangell on that trip (not filmed or photographed), the weather had deteriorated since the first visit and ATC directed Make A Wish to a "GPS Alpha approach and circle to runway 28"...Interesting and hair raising to follow. I certainly would NOT have liked to do that for real!!

Great pictures, Peter, as always.

I am not sure about that motto "Make A Wish" - hardly an auspicious start to a flight seeing that plastered on the side.
