there there Ian , your no monster. mate

I once rode my bike through an intersection where I had the yield ... boy you should have seen what my bike did to that car
and the street curb after taking a pounding from my face..... :agree: that'll teach me.

turns out this guy driving the car was on his way to pick up a girl for a date who happened to be a friend of my older sister...
anyways the girl had wanted a date with this boy for some time , and I ruined it ;) ... boy was she ticked, ...wanted to beat me up :worried:

But I was safe in the hospital , having all those nurses caring for me....

Sorry to read of your accident, Mark.

I'm sure that you'll make a full recovery in a few weeks.

Best Regards

Cheers for the kind words
To be honest I'm not so sure. I was lucky this time, I might not be next time.... :worried:
You can't think like that though can you? Maybe Ill just get a massive R1200GS and paint it yellow with a race can so I'm a bit more obvious :xgrin:

NO.. you bloody well can't

To be honest with you mate.. exactly the same happened to someone I know near a gas station and he was driving a CAR!! I'll grant you there's a much better chance of walking away from any prang in a car but hey.. if you ride everyday thinking you're gonna hit something, maybe it's time to take the bus ;)

Do get back on Mark. I was shaking the first time I rode my bike after this photo was taken. But then it gets better.

I admit I only had a badly sprained wrist and some bruises. But you don't forget sliding along the road towards a crash barrier with the sound of the bike following you. :-O I don't remember the flying bit that came immediately before it though.

I also never quite trusted this bike again, which is illogical, and sold it about a year later.

This accident was caused by a tw*t on another bike. The only time I've done a highside.

Jon
