I always liked the KLM Viscounts. 707 shots are something else.

Someone else was at the same show:

Thanks for your respose.
This must be the same aircraft.I was too busy taking the pictures to spot the titling.I mentioned in my post that I thought that it belonged to British Midland because that was what someone told me.No doubt someone here will soon clarify that.ATB EricT :)

Hi Eric

It mentions it was being flown by BMA in the caption :)

They used to lease them out in various packages.....with or without crew...whatever to suit :)

That is certainly a BMA aircraft

Garry,Thanks for that.I knew you would come up with the result!Interaction like this makes the whole effort worthwhile because it is a mammoth task and a total pain in the ar$e..Of course, I am not only scanning aviation slides but many others as well.I am going to be immodest now but I hope that you may enjoy some images yet to be viewed.EricT

but the star of the show has to be those sunnies
Yes ,and what about the knitted tie? :) EricT
I was so mesmerised by the sunnies I hadn't even noticed the tie. That is truly special. I also noticed that the Swallow appears to be piloted by a young Rolf Harris. Keep em coming

Cheers
