It's all over now and ended up being not too bad a day as my language was rather less Anglo-Saxon than could be considered the norm.. even if I DO say so myself I'm warming (after a shaky start) to the Clapton/Winwood gig the more I think about it. The 'present' was 2 tickets and it looks very much like my 6th-form daughter will be my companion for the occasion and both SWMBO and 'offspring' have worked out we'll be going on the Triumph (though I hope to god no-one presumes my daughter is anything more than that!
) even though I'm not struck on taking the bike to the Arena! Sitting in traffic on a bike is bad enough.. with a passenger it's worse and at my age.. I'd rather take the train We shall see Anyway.. thanks one and all for your kind words
