Baron in the Springtime snow...

Post by petermcleland »

The Springtime weather in Alaska yesterday was pretty white...but I enjoyed making this little video:-

Best watched with it clicked up to 480 resolution. It also looks great when clicked to "Full Screen" and turn the sound right up :fly:

Peter..

Where was the default Cessna-at-idle sound coming from?? It had a rather overpowering effect for me I'm afraid :(

Various places I think Dave...Stolly, Beaver floatplane, Windsurfers and also, I think, underneath the Baron sound from AIBlast  Maybe, I could adjust their relative values with a bit of fiddling :)

Hi Peter :hello:

For my part, that's just about all I can hear! I vaguely caught the Baron sound as it throttled up for takeoff but the overall effect was like sitting in a Cessna with the engine at idle and watching that video on a laptop with audio turned down/off :cpu:
It maybe an undesirable artifact of AI blast though I couldn't confirm it as I don't use it ;)

I found the solution to that problem Dave...When filming Traffic with AIBlast, you need to go to the FS9 Sound sliders and pull the "Environment" slider to Zero...It controls the default AI sound...Too late for that video I'm afraid :dunno:
