It quite possible they use it for personel transport :)

Miltary do use civilian contractors.

A lot of the Boeing 747/MD-11 UPS flights I see are USAF military Airlift Command flights as are Kalitta, Atlas and other US freight carriers

One thing worth mentioning though is that is often wrong.

I often see flights that they can't be......like a US Airways aircraft going to Paris two days running with Atlanta as it's arrival.

In this case it is probably right as those airports wouldn't be normal operations so not 'left in' as in the case of the US Airways.

Yup.. the run 'down south' from Brize is normally done using a civvie carrier ;)

Air Seychelles now have the contract which was previously operated by the now defunct FlyGlobeSpan (both with 767s). Air Tahiti Nui ran the service briefly as a stop gap IIRC with an A340.
