Hi ther :hello:

Welcome to the forum

I don't use FS.X but I'm thinking DX.10 Preview? *-)

Reverse the setting and see if that helps :)

Hi chaps,

Sorry I'm a bit late. The beaufighter works fine in FSX with or without DX10 preview mode. The first thing that comes to mind is that maybe the graphics card isn't up to it. The texture on the Beau are quite big. Can you post your machine specification please matey?

RAM, CPU, Make and Model of Graphics card

Cheers,

Ben. :)

Try turning UAC off if using Vista or Win 7.

Hi Roger,

UAC on or off doesn't make any difference on the Beaufighter ;)

UAC is user account control, basicly in Vista (and to a lesser extent on 7) even if you log on as an administrator, there are some things that you still need to right click on and say "Run as administrator" just an extra level of protection, albeit a bit over the top in Vista.

Gocha Ben

I was thinking of an FS.X thing......and I couldn't think what

UAC I think has caused some folks not to be able to change .CFG's until they run as an administrator.

Thanks :)
