Depends on where you install FSX Garry. You can change CFG files without problem if they are in your profile, however if they are in a system directory, you'll need to right click and do "run as administrator" you don't actually need to switch UAC off, you just right click and select run as administrator... simples :)

In effect.like a lot of things, a bit of planning at the early stages saves loads of hassle :)

If the aircraft is not in the selection window, it usually means that there isn't a panel folder.

Chaps I took it to mean Laz could select the aircraft, but it wasn't showing in the preview pane? *-)

The Beaufighter makes use of a fallback texture. Ensure that there is a texture.cfg in the selected aircraft's texture folder.

Hi,

Im new here and I was wondering if any could help me with a Beaufighter problem - When I click the supercharger gear change lever only the right engine has an increase in boost and there is a massive yaw to the left. I think I have tried almost everything such as throttling the engines back up and down, loading it over the default FSX flight, but nothing seems to work?

Any help here would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Hi Craig and welcome ;)

I've had a look at my Beau and the only thing I notice is that the port set of levers move individually (you have to move them both) and the stbd set work together. Other than that, I didn't notice any difference in pwr between the engines. Maybe DG has had this one flagged and can be of some assistance :)

Oh.. what OS are you running and what level is FSX at (eg, SP1, SP2, Accel) ;)

Hi,

What do you mean by port set and starboard set-the s/c levers are on the port side?
I run FSX Accel., Win.7 32, 4gb DDR2, Nvdia 9600GT 512mb.

Cheers,
Craig Tatley
