HS.748 in Calm Air colours?
Hi, folks!
It's been a while since I laid my digital brushes on Rick's still amazing beauty.
After releasing lots of Canada-based repaints, I found a temporary new home in the land of the Kiwis and left some marks there...
But now I received a nice request on doing a repaint on the 748 in Calm Air colours.
I have to admit that I've never heard of this operator before, and even airliners.net hasn't listed this airline in the search index.
But here is one:
http://www.airliners.net/photo/Calm-Air ... 0284220/L/
I think there are still not enough dedicated cargo liveries out there, so I'm highly tempted to do this one.
Does anyone know if this livery already has been done or if somebody currently is on it?
If not, I'd gladly take over...
Cheers,
Markus.

Would be my new favorite 748 paint. Personally i'd love to see this paint done the most http://www.airliners.net/photo/Calm-Air ... 3b7a2a58ef as this was the paint scheme being used when they were partners with Canadian Airlines (from the late 80s until Canadian was taken over by Air Canada in the early 2000s)and when i was growing up in the Canadian north and my dad was still flying for them. Sure miss seeing these birds up at Flin Flon, Churchill and Thompson. Now the only 748s i get to see are Wasayas that are constantly parked here in CYQT.

TKDAdam,
I too would love to see one of our very talented repainters do that scheme - it's gorgeous. Thanks for posting the link,

Ro

Perhaps I missed something, and I know that Techy111 said he doesn't get "on much anymore", but has this repaint been released anywhere ? If so, please can someone give me a pointer to where it's available,
thanks in advance,
Ro
