Yo Leif

The joke was in reference to DB's comment about Jordans chestn and HB's fear of the image that conjured up  ......for those who don't know 'Jordan'...AKA Katie Price is a very busty model who thinks a lot of herself but has not really made it in the US like she thought she would.

Sorry Garry I'm having a blonde moment this morning.

Funny about that somewhere I remember reading a joke about the Mossie - that the spinners were the ghost of Nell Gwyne. ;)

I also wasnt aware that the Hornet actually saw combat in Malaya and Borneo.

The only thing that stands out about the hornet was the single oleo U/C legs - sort of made it look spindly

  Not to worry

As I mentioned she's not so well known your side, but over here it's in yer face all the time.....both of them :$

The Hornet always looked to me like one of these pics where the depth gets reduced 30% but not the width.

I suppose for speed, a miminal airframe with the biggest engines possible to fit sort of dictated the form.

Nice subject and a good gap fill :)

It does have sort of a "lean and Hungry" look about doesnt it -- Rob's talent goes from strength to strength when you consider this is only his fifth offering.
We were talking and both of us can see a resemblance between the Hornet and the Vampires cockpit - not just the interior but the whole "egg"

This is great news for me. :welldone:

I have the Alphasim one for FS9 and it is a staple in the flight sim Round The World Race held every year between Flightsim.com, Avsim.com, Sim-Outhouse.com and iFlyOnline.com.

The Hornet is my favourite racer, followed closely by the P-51H and Bearcat (selection depends on distance to travel as the Hornet is a bit range limited).

Hopefully the FDE will be close to specs (in terms of speed and range) and it has the drop tanks on the Hornet version as well as the Sea Hornet.

Really looking forward to comparing this with the AS one now......does he need a beta tester? ;)

I didn't think Katy Price (Jordan) had anywhere left conquer. The comparison between her and Victoria B (aka Posh Spice in another life)... Victoria's body = Size 1.. Jordans chest = Size 101KK. The Hornet looks proportionally similar.. whichever version ;)

Larry

The FAA Sea Hornet will be first -- Rob has an affinity for Carrier monsters, Dave Jerram has provided the Pilots notes for the Hornet , and judging by Rob's
previous efforts I would hazard a guess that the FDE will be spot on !!. AS to Beta testers, well hes a bit of a way from that but I'll pass your offer along.
If the cockpit is the same quality as his Vampire I would think that he will have a winner....plus of courser the price will right. I have seen a couple of
screenshots and he has already modeled mixed load outs including slipper tanks, 5 inch HVARS and 250# bombs. Personally Im hoping for the SEAF version
so I can sortie out on Tengah.
