Court Line L1011

Post by tonymadge »

I was curious if the Court Line Tristars ( yellow and pink) had the wings and horizontal stabs painted in the same colours as the fuselage?
Cheers Tony

This site seems to answer that one Tony....for the initial delivery anyway.

I flew on the Court line 1-11's in the '70s...the out of season (Nov-Mar) bargains were 5 days (4 nights) from Luton to Palma, full board for £18......The flight alone would have been about £40 normally.....those were the days!!!

Hi Tony :hello:

Wings were colour on the bottom and white on the top :)

A few One-Eleven seemed to have white on the bottom for a time but that was not the standard.
