FSX: Suppress one (or more) inbuilt ATC communications?

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd ask this here before trying an internet search as I'm anticipating it to be one of those queries that's difficult to pinpoint.

I (still) use the inbuilt FSX ATC communications at the start and end of flights, but get annoyed when the ATC window opens itself again and again after I've touched down on the runway merely to tell me "turn next taxiway" or "exit the runway when able". Does anyone know whether (or has anyone heard that) it's possible to prevent this from happening without setting FSX to stop all ATC communications from opening the ATC window?

I suppose you could tune your radio away from the tower freq

Such an obvious workaround -- and it feels preferable to anything more sophisticated. Thanks also for the speed in supplying!
