And while we're on the subject...oh for a native FSX Rick Piper Varsity and/or Meteor T.Mk 7. They were huge favourites of mine in FS9.

HI Paul :hello:

There IS somewhere (hopefully in our library) a v4 Chipmouse which was/is the latest version. I dragged v3 over to FSX and that worked ok. I think most of the tweaking done for v4 was for FSX (though I may be wrong) ;) The Varsity/Viking (never found much use for the Valetta unfortunately) remain faves of mine in FS9 as is the Meatbox. I've tried both in FSX and they work (mostly) though they don't of course have all the bumps and blooms that native types have :)

Dave, the only file I can find is ChipmunkV3.zip...is there a Version 4 then ?

Roger on the Meteor, I'll give that a try in FSX. It's still the only 'small' jet I've ever been comfortable with. Not fast, not pointy...perfect.

I have the T7 in FSX. No problems with that one if I recall correctly.

Hi Paul..

Yup.. I'm sure there's a v4 but I can't find it either. Hope it's not another senior moment 8) *-) v3 works a treat though. There may be a prob with the G Meter display but search the forum and you'll find a fix DG made ;)

EDIT..
I think I may have found the reason for a bit of confusion. A lot of Chippie references on FSCom point to Chipmunk04 and without looking too hard, I'd presumed this was v4. As it happens, that file is the original (v1) so if you've got v3, you have the latest version. Sri for sending you up the garden path 8)
