With FSX I am impressed with the way it performs and handles.

And I am able to fly some of the FSX native aircraft that I have been wanting to fly quite a while.

Thank you Dave. I have made several attempts to download but when it gets to 32% a patch comes up stating that the zipped folder has become corrupted. Unfortunately my computer skills are very limited.
I was looking for a military version such as the AOP 5, (Lycoming) 6 and 9 I flew in Malaya but your J1 will do nicely. After leaving the Army I flew a restored Piper L-4J for some twenty years. I have been looking for a sim version but no luch so far. Should you ever think about such a project I have dozens of photographs from WW II to the present time. Occasionally I got to fly an Auster J1 belonging to a friend, it was originally built for Sutton Seeds to be used in Africa. I have a snap somewhere should you be interested.

There is a Auster 5 available at the Pond -- its one of the few that Dave Moly hasnt done for FS9
it was done by Bjorn Buchner--Its right here....http://www.classicbritishfiles.com/inde ... fo&id=1156
however not sure if it will port to FSX as I believe it was originally a Fs2002/Fs9 model. Its very nice and there are a bunch of repaints for it....
if there is a particular paint you would like to see...Peter Watkins is very amenable about doing repaints. :)

:hide: Oh dear, I am in trouble again
