Sound Files For An Authentic Vulcan sound with occasional intake resonance Vulcan signature 'howl'. This should work on all FS versions from FS2000 on. By Steve Boston

Very nice and a very British sound - think I'll keep it.

Not sure how accurate it is, as:-
(1) I'm using headphones, not a 5-speaker set;
(2) I haven't actually seen/heard a Vulcan "live" since the 1960s (every time XH558 looks like being near here, I'm somewhere else), and the last one had an extra "big" Olympus (593?) fitted under the bomb bay, so the sound was hardly representative of the type - especially when they lit the afterburner, turned directly away from us, and accelerated while climbing.... :excited: :excited: :excited:

Haven't checked the sounds out, but I bet it doesn't match this, wait for the B-52 to eventually get airbourne then listen for some rolling thunder :) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYOgsgnZ8dw
