Yes FS9 3D default clouds are really very good...I remember when beta testing FS9 that a Chinese lady was the main brains behind all the weather aspects including the dynamic weather. I like all her weather except the "imposters" in the distance and I keep them away by setting 3D clouds to 100%. Now I use REX clouds and they are an improvement but as your pictures show, the default is rather lovely too :)

thats the real beauty of flight....a simple aircraft, no hurries whatsoever to go anywhere, just going...and enjoying the scenery ;)
I flew in one of these once...from Tires to Sintra, where we have the Air Museum now...I could see cables and wires passing me, and I remember having a bit of a difficulty getting aboard...I'm 1,99 mts, I'm a bit tall, one could say, and found it hard to get in ;)
lovely experience by the way !!!

As for teh clouds, I'm using a freeware package now, but I agree, the default clouds are also very good....we tend to go back to the real thing, I supose,...thats why I keep all the original files backed up, in case I change my mind ;)

You want me to post some more screenshots?

All I did was play around with the settings till I got something that looked good.

I haven't had a lot of time on FS2004 over the last week. Will get some more screenshots soon though.
