Scenery development in FSX

Post by paul26may »

I have read on the Abacus website that it is possible to use SDK in FSX to make scenery by altering the Object Placement File. Is this true and does anyone know how to go about it? I am on Windows 7 and cannot find the said file!

It would probably be a lot easier to develop scenery using something like Flight1's Instant Scenery (payware), Whisplacer or Scruffyduck's Airport Design Editor, to be honest, depending on the complexity of what you want to achieve.

Did you have something specific in mind, or did you just want to play and see what happened?

From first hand i find Whisplacer an easy program to use! Its possible with this to view the objects your placing dirrectly into FSX to check your placement is correct.

If you need any help with this just ask!

Flight1's Instant Scenery (payware)
Now in version 2 which is place by mouse in sim! Could not be easier, just a shame you have to buy it again, if your version 1 is over a few months old! :'( :'(
