Don't get me started on the Apple update software, 'Do you want to install Safari?' No, why the **** would I want to install another ****ing web browser, I've already got two and they both have the advantage of not looking ****.
Yeah I may have accidentally installed it once, I think it added another six or so processes to the five iTunes seems to want even when it isn't running.

I don't use iTunes much - I prefer Winamp which works with my iPod. I do know that after every update to iTunes, I go through and uninstall a bunch of junk like Apple Software Updater and Bonjour which I don't use and also check the startup proceesses using a program called Autoruns and disable all the Apple stuff like iTunes Helper from starting automatically.
