For FSX users, these seem to be fully native FSx and a great improvement in the VC, great work!

It is not a fulle native FSX model, but as close as I can make it as long as I want FS9 compatibility. It uses *.dds textures for faster loading and better framerates, the only problems you can get is if you switch on the 'Preview DirecX 10' option, which requires Windows 7 or Vista.

By the way: In the DC-4 3.0 release for FS2004, there was a small mixup in the VC texture files. The file available at Simviation is now correct, and the error-free file will be available at avsim and flightsim soon (I hope - it has been uploaded to them). The other downloads (DC-4 for FSX, Canadair for FSX and FS9) are unaffected.

Best regards

Jens - great job as usual. Thanks!

One minor error on the Argonaut radio section in the aircraft.cfg file - you cannot tune the Com radios manually. Here is the correction that fixes the problem..

[Radios]
Audio.1=1
Com.1 =1, 0 <------- changed from 1,1 since there is no standby
Com.2 =1, 0 <------- changed from 1,1
Nav.1 =1, 0, 1
Nav.2 =1, 0, 0
Adf.1 =1
Adf.2 =1
Transponder.1=1
Marker.1=1
