Nose details for Hawker Hunter G-APUX

Post by jdetrick »

I am currently working on a repaint of Dave Garwood's two seat hunter and I'm trying to do a good representation of G-APUX. Does anyone have any detail of the Hawker Siddley logo on the nose and the triangular marking just below the cockpit? Thanks.

Hi there

Would the triangular marking be the ejector seat warning.....standard marking??

Hi Garry

I think he means what looks like a squadron emblem on the company T66 Demonstrator

Can't find any shots showing it
only one shot on Airliners.net

Sorry for the lack of a name. You are correct. It's the squadron flag on the company demonstrator. John Detrick

Hi John :)

Rick has that nailed.. the logo in the link is definitely what XJ615 is wearing on the shot I have. Copy that logo and reverse the colour (make it negative) and you're sorted
