It's in the restoration hanger (part of the Superhanger)

This is it this time last year (2010)

If not being worked on now, it's going to be.

Just after the Victor was moved indoors, I read that an initial inspection had found her to be in quite reasonable condition, despite outward appearances. It also mentioned that they were about to embark on a long-term restoration program, but clearly that has yet to start. I don't know how much the cut in funding is going to affect this, however. IWM has had to lay a number of staff off, and keep two exhibition buildings closed over the winter ( the Land Warfare Hall and Hangar 3 most of the time ). I suppose we should be grateful that at least she is out of the weather. If only they could get the DAS airliners indoors too...

They've squeezed the Viscount in there now as well!

When I was there last year they were restoring the Herald, only the BAC 1-11 was looking tired of the Airliners outside but they could all do with some TLC every now and again.

Victor and Shack still in the same state but the Viscount is outside (as of 9th Feb 11). Herald looks terrible and is also outside.

Ukmil Victor is a cracker for sheer nostalgia....give it a whirl, you won't be disappointed :)
It's so nice to be insane, nobody asks you to explain.

I've got the Alphasim ones, but the panels are awful (as is the VC in FSX one) Visual model is pretty good though. Were the Victors built at Radlet?
