Thought I had a flat tire at first as the back end started weaving about. Closer inspection revealed the right hand bearing was fcuked. I'm surprised there was no prior warning as I'd only cleaned and lubed the chain a few days before and seemed fine then. Oh well, stuff happens...

It's still a bit early to get any snaps as pretty as those. There's a new trail set to open just north of Des Moines next weekend, and it should be a stunner in the fall. It's an old railroad right-of-way and they've rebuilt an old rail bridge over the Des Moines River Valley. I may just get over my slight acrophobia to enjoy the view.
