Elisabeth Sladen RIP

Post by Paul K »

Very sad to read this morning that this lovely woman has lost her fight with cancer. Of all the many Doctor Who assistants, ( or sidekicks or whatever you want to call them ) she was the best. In fact, she's the only one who's name I remember. And yes, I fancied her like mad at the time. I just wish she had appeared in more things over the intervening years.

Rest In Peace, Elisabeth.

Yep, very sad.

I also remember her as Jon Pertwee's assistant.

Suprised to read she was 63 though, but wore it well. No more 'Sarah Jane Adventures' then.

Very sad news indeed. I liked watching her in "Doctor Who " when i was growing up when she starred alongside Jon Pertwee, they were a good combo those two .

Yes, more sad news.

I remember her with Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker and my 9 year old Sam loves the Sarah Jane Adventures on kids TV.

I hope you don't mind chaps, but I'm quite surprised just how sad I feel at her passing.
