I don't think they should have killed him. He should have been arrested and then made to spend the rest of his life going through Airport security. :)

yeah but first implant him with metal plates and make him wear knee high laced boots. And change his name to Dumbass. That's it..... no last name.

 That reminds me of the time I went through airport security wearing steel-toed work shoes. The metal detector kept dinging me until I finally realised it was because of my shoes. As luck would have it I was wearing my holiest pair of socks that day. There was more hole than sock! Extremely embarrasing! :$ To this day I always check my socks before heading to the airport. :agree:

See, whilst celebrating Arsenal;s win over Man U, it was probably unwise to rush out into the compound
shouting, "Come on the Gunners!"

Earlier, Paul Kirkland criticised the fact that I regard this act as morally indefensible . I will answer his criticism of principles, by saying that if we abandon them , then the enemy have won . Oh, and in case he thinks that this is all purely academic to me, one of my sons had been passed by the bus which blew up in Russell Square about 30 seconds before the event .

Principles and ideals are fine, but they can not always be adhered to in a highly imperfect reality. Your espoused values, while laudable, are about as durable as a soap bubble in a situation such as this. We are up against people who are no more principled than you suppose we are; this isn't a war, there are no POWs or Geneva Convention here. We are up against out and out mass murderers, and if we kill their leadership faster than they can organize massed atrocities on us, I'm all for it. Cstorey, I respect your opinions, but I don't agree with them and wont be responding to you on this topic further. It'll save us both time. ;)
