Saw a sign that reminded me of the thread yesterday

Derek
I looked high and low for the Schweepes India tonic to no avail so I had to
settle on Seagrams.
but to make it up I had curry chicken for dinner.
:dunno:

On the way home tonight I found a store brand tonic with guinnie.
Fingers crossed.

Funny thing most stores here carry schweepes club soda and ginger ale :wall:
Maybe the British Depot will order it for me.

Now if you'll pardon me, there are a bowl of frozen lime chucks wanting to get warm.....

On more thing I seam to remember the "Mac" telling me about Schweepes.
Here's to ya Peter. :guinn:

There's nothing I hate more than not being able to wash my boat....especially when I'm allowed to be three sheets to the wind.......

....or pissed as a newt, rat-arsed, pisceod, drunk as a skunk, seriously squiffy, legless, tanked, wrecked, sh*t-faced, wasted, under the table, smashed, stewed or hammered.......

Luckily I don't have a boat, so will have to stick to the alcohol......

Right, so here we are discussing getting drunk and not washing your boat. And to think this thread started with a commemorative wedding mug. God help me I love this place!

Well *-)

People get drunk at weddings and drink from mugs
they even have their mug shots taken. :agree:

And owning a boat is kinda like having a wife.
It's not the initial investment that's the bulk of the cost ...
It's all the upkeep.

If you catch my drift. ;)

  And I've heard that the two happiest days for a boat owner are the day you buy her and the day you sell her. :hide: ;)

I heard that as well Brian, but lord I did love my boat, spent most of the year (from April to October in Georgia) on the lake skiing, amazing did not matter what day it was or what time, I could always find two other people who could a/. ski and b/. drive a boat......and yes the upkeep was expensive, but no where near as much as the former Mrs H -- I am still paying for that one!!.
