Fokker F27

Just to clarify is there an updated version of Fraser's F27 panel? I have one of Fraser's excellent panels already and was just wondering if this thread concerns a more recent release.
I don't know how Fraser managed to reproduce the Dart/Dowty characteristics so well but it is awesome. That tricky range around 10,400 RPM or so is great and with the prop locks etc is very realistic and brings back a lot of memories I had flying them.

Many thanks! This panel is an absolute gem. The night-lighting effects in particular are a great enhancement over the old version...but what really sold me is the Allegheny repaint. I've been searching for ages for a quality ALO repaint to bounce the hills & nooks of my native Pennsylvania in...

As far as I could see, there is no VC for this - so a no-go for me.

I do have the VirtualCol F-50, though, which I quite like.

I used to work on Lufthansa F-50s - very nice plane.

I'm about to build the 'new' Airfix F-27, too, if I may stray off-topic. Can't wait to get it done and sitting on my desk (in the nice Turkish Airlines red strip livery).

If you're concerned about accuracy, you need to extend the dorsal up the fin a fair bit

is this a new tooling? I seem to remember the F27 being available around the late '60s and early '70s. I think it sported a Braathens SAFE livery on the box art.

It's the old kit...still with nine windows each side but has the nose removed and an extra sprue with the long and short noses and it now has both propeller shapes

The stewardess is missing as she went when it was re issued as a Troopship, but otherwise it's the same.
