Area-51 C-17 Globemaster III

Post by Erich »

As there is a RAF paint, I thought it might broadly qualify for a mention for what it's worth. :) On the heels of Virtavia's offering which I didn't buy (and am now glad I didn't) is the Area-51 version.

Someone at SimOuthouse did a great comparative write-up between the two offerings here:(scroll halfway down page 3)

... and at £18 for the Area-51 version...I have now decided which one I'm going for.

Thanks for HU - that 'comparison' on SOH gave me a headache before I got halfway through it, though.

Hint - fetch magnifying glass, then click link... :agree:

JD no need for a magnifying glass. When viewing any website that is particularly text intensive try using Ctrl and + to magnify and Ctrl and - to reduce and Ctrl and 0 to return to default text size.

Well, I bought it and it is fantastic. Visually stunning and flies extremely well. Very convincing. :welldone:
