It's certainly something well worth going into depth and detail with as there are no other models of the early Vulcans anywhere. You've got a captive market on this one :)

UPDATE
i have now finished the basic model with most of the animation (which for fsx is not easy at all) if anyone wants a copy of the working (but not completely finished)plane let me know its about 2mb ziped up
done so far;
all flight controls, working elevators and alirons as per the prototype (not elevons as per the modern vulcs)
landing gear and doors
crew hatch
details to finish off when i can get them to work;
pistons for the gear doors
pistons for the crew hatch
front wheel stearing
landing gear compression
spoilers

Apologies to Doug & his (I assume) excellent model, but I seem to have lost my mojo :'(

Try as I might I can not persude FS9 to open this aircraft. In the selection window when clicking on the title I'm getting some waffle about not being able to open the mdl folder.

Anyone else having this?

Sorry Doug its (probably) not your fault - my PC hates me & I hate my PC, but if I'm the only one I shall be most unimpressed :help:

Initial thoughts were that it might be the naming of the mdl & mdl.cfg files...tried that, no joy. Renamed .air file, no joy, changed sim title no joy.

Bugger :wall:

Bob
I can fly now with my fantastic new PC

Hi yes it is now an FSX only model as it is now compiled with XtoMDL not makemdl the animation is very different requiring non rendered copy's for all moving parts I cannot create FS9 models any more as I cannot get makemdl to work I can however supply the FSDS model without animation for anyone who can animate and compile it for fs9
Sorry but it's a result of my new laptop with win7 not running the older software :dunno:
