Have a look over at the Sim Outhouse FSX forum. I don't frequent the place any more, but I remember there are a lot of threads concerning Vertigo's output. You'll get a pretty good idea of what's what there.

I don't dabble in FSX very often, but I couldn't resist picking up their F8F during a sale last year. It's a beautiful model with some neat weapons loadout features, and flies like the overpowered brute that it is! Be forewarned that there is a forthcoming long-awaited v1.2 patch that is due to be released soon. Nothing major; namely a fix for the inop ADF gauge and a few other minor animation issues. It's still a great model and a good buy if you're interested in the type. I don't have their other models, but assume they're much the same.

I have the Hawk - it's great, but I think their prices are steep - I certainly didn't pay that much for mine (and wouldn't).

Pretty sure I got it in a sale at simMarket or suchlike.
