David Marshal ( a.k.a "Opa" ) Rests In Peace

Post by nigelb »

Just saw this on Avsim. He helped many in the the flight sim community and I remember his Tricks and Tips series and many other tutorials.

My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Indeed sad news. When I was new-ish to flight sim I came across his tutorials at FlightSim.com...they were still far from finished then. I found them most enlightening & entertaining. Even had occassion to e-mail him once with a tip, which he graciously used.

Rest in Peace 'Opa'.. You have left a useful legacy for us to enjoy.

Good grief, the man lived close by and I didn't even know it. :( Here's his obituary 'guest book' if anyone wants to leave a message for his family.
