DISNEY Planes
Hi All,
Not too sure if it is of interest to anyone here, but thought I would post anyhow.
Pixar who did Cars and Cars2 are now over seeing Disney Studios do a spin off called "Planes" here is the trailer... a homage to a certain 1986 movie, its nicely done.

I am rather gutted that the Toy Company I work for does not have the rights to the Toys but I am sure I can expense the product as "Competitor Samples" when it does come out!
I am also impressed that Disney managed to have a White Zombie track as the music score!
Cheers,
Fraser.

No worries, I've been watching the progress of this, not for me of course but for my 9 year old lad...sketchy74 wrote:Not too sure if it is of interest to anyone here, but thought I would post anyhow.

Re: DISNEY Planes
I'm impressed, just saddened that their take on the F-14/F/A-18 looks a helluva lot like a MiG-29.
I do think they did a good job on the Air Tractor. :P

Re: DISNEY Planes
Yeah, but historically PIXAR has done a good job of being pretty accurate with their stuff. Look at the Air Tractor and the B-2 for example. Then you get their "Navy Jet" that really doesn't look like anything out there now, but has the intakes of the F-14 at a MiG-29 cant, the trailing link gear and canted tails of the F/A-18, and a wing that looks like an enlarged version of the Gnat's. I just find it a bit odd and disappointing that they do so well on so many of their models and then they have one that just stands out like a sore thumb as just being "off".

Spring 2013! You mean I've got to.......er, I mean my nephews have got to wait almost 18months to see it, damn.

Well into my second childhood anyway, so I'm looking forward to it.
