Back where I belong

Post by TSR2 »

Having been PCless for a few months, I finally got up and running last week and I think I now have most of my addons back, so time for a test flight in the new PC...

Back home in my sofa

Hi Dave,

yep it seems decent. My mate got be an i5 2500K, ASUS P8P67 and 8GB of DDR3 1600MHz stuff. I then added an OCZ Agility 3 SSD 120GB to boot from and my two "old" Kingston 128GB V100 SSD's for flight sim. Trusty old 8800GTX still doing the needful. Best thing about it all is its virtually silent! :cpu:

Yes indeedie! With all those SSD's onboard, the only thing you're going to hear is the fan off the 8800 and perhaps the case fan! Excellent stuff ;) Helen brought an i5 HP laptop a few weeks ago and I must say, it does go rather well. Wonder if she'd let me put flightsim on it *-)
