Re: Cumbernauld Xtreme
Hi Trev, I bought Abacus European Enhanced Terrain (about $40 AU) it certainly covers North of the border. If you'd like to choose an airport, I'll try to get a screenshot for you.Trev Clark wrote:The Horizon VFR has been promising a full Scotland for years. If the decide to go for Hi-res like the 'Isles', it will probably cost over 100 quid to cover, which will be silly. I never fly north of the border now (I hate FSX UK default scenery) and would love to see the Highlands in VFR.

Wonder if they've built in the bumpy approach on a hot day due to the warm air radiating from the roofs of those industrial units. Not a very likely contingency in Scotland

Re: Cumbernauld Xtreme
Having just bought this beautiful little airport, in the UK2000 Xtreme series, I thought I would take a few screenshots.

Re: Cumbernauld Xtreme
Nice shots Peter I prefer the 'longer' shots.. they don't show the 4-cornered trees/bushes/shrubs/tufty grass bits quite so much. I guess you don't notice them 'in use'

That windsock shot is a bit how I feel on the first Monday after the clocks go back, looking at 18 weeks of dark nights
Apart from that....nice shots
