What triggers the static aircraft?
I'm not seeing any static fighters either on the hard stand or grass?
I do see a Catalina and B17, but noticed these dissapeared yesterday for some reason?
Using FSX.

The statics are AI aircraft, so what appears will depend on your AI traffic settings. Dux is programmed with different traffic levels at 10, 20 & 30%
They're set to do circuits at different times of the day. Check the PDFs for details.

Is it Airline AI traffic or General AI traffic settings in FSX that need to be a 30% for full AI ?

I put both on last night when trying it out to be sure but forgot to check by trying different options.

I've had it answered on the ACG website, in FSX the AI traffic is linked to the Airline Traffic Density slider. The General aviation density slider can be put back to zero if not used.

I know but we both know comparing FS9 and FSX is like Laurel and Wise or Morecambe and Little, or Ant 'n Dec. They just don't work sometimes the way you expect them to.
