Hi Chaps,
Any of the more tallented panters than me fancy taking a crack at the VC10 and Super VC10 fleet for the VA?

Dave, Did DM start these a while ago? I seem to remember someone taking a look at it
Ben.

Re: A cheeky New Year VC10 Request
Hi Ben
IF I remember correct, someone posted the question 'had DM done the fleet VC10 paints' and he came back and said NO
Do you know how many we're short?? I guess quite a lot

Re: A cheeky New Year VC10 Request
From what I can see the only repaints I have are the ones that came with the download from his site, I guess that would leave a fair few to be done
There weren't that many 10's in service though
Ben.

12 Standard and 17 Super..BOAC,BA and interims although most of the Standards never had full BA livery and two Supers were W/O in BOAC livery
A few Standards had an earlier BOAC livery and there were the Cuanard Supers
A fair few though

Re: A cheeky New Year VC10 Request
A fair few indeed
I looked at painting all the Rapide fleet for the FSX model and ended up (yesterday) dragging the FS9 model into FSX instead
If it's any consolation Ben.. I only ever fly the VC10's I have paints for.. eg, the ones that came in the original release
Not a satisfactory situation I admit

Re: A cheeky New Year VC10 Request
No I never did them.
I don't fly the VC10 with the VA, so the incentive was never there.
I've managed to rustle up some bits for the BA Supers though. And I'm fed up of it now.
It's just replacement Wing_BL & TAIL textures, so you'll have to build up a complete fleet from existing bits yourself.

BTW I've not tested any of it in FS, but it looks alright from a distance.
Hope it's of some use

Re: A cheeky New Year VC10 Request
No it's mostly true I'm afraid.
I hadn't realised the Standard ARVB was already done in BOAC, so ARVA is a piece of piddle too as there's already an 'A' there to copy.
http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk/VC10_ARVA_BITS.zip
And the Standards ASIW & ASIX are already available.
So I think there is at least one paint for all of the CBFS fleet now.
Cheers
