Glad to report that Rob R has "delivered the goods" in the form of an update to his model that now produces this kind of view:

Yes, Rick's 748 (actually 780, not that I think the differences are visible) was the second picture, the "comparison" picture I included to try to indicate the darker/bluer feel to the original TwinPin view. Should've made that clear from the start!

Anyway, I've just sent Rob a mail with the good news and my thanks. Meanwhile, off I go on tour!
