David, what they actually do is just reactivate the old Pilot ID, not a new one. The database saves all the old ID numbers and won't reassign them. All of the data for the inactive ID is held in archives for up to a year before all non-active flight reports (i.e. ones not linked to an active VA) are deleted.

Yes that's an easier way Chris.
I did think of that overnight. I do that a lot, go to sleep and the little men that operate my brain sort it out and present me with the answer in the morning.

Neville might throw a small spanner in the works if he completes the flight that he's got booked though. Unless it's been sorted already.

Oh dear, how's that for timing Nev?
CBFS VA has been made inactive by FSAirlines this morning!

So, no you probably can't fly.
We're trying to get some clarification on the situation before deciding what to do.

Hey guys,

I'm coming back to CBFS VA. Unfortunately despite multiple times trying to revive VHA, it seems were not going to be getting any new blood and so I feel it's time to just let her be. I'll do whatever training flights are needed, just let me know. Application is in at the website.

Come on in Chris. :hello:

You know enough about it all, so no need for full training.
I can see you're current on the 1-11, so I'll set you up a rating on those.
If you've not flown any type for over a year, you have to do the first 2 training flights as a refresher.
If you've new to an aircraft type, you need to do the first 4 training flights.

So, let me know what aircraft you are up to date on and I'll sort you out the type ratings.
And then let me know if there is anything you want to train on.

Cheers
