Re: NEW FS from MS
Garry I think if something was going to be released as a sim they would have been banging the big noise drum by now. Windows 8 will all be App style and this "game" seems to be built for that sort of platform so it can be played on a tablet, android phone etc... That Lockheed Martin thingy is based on FSX so I doubt they would have put so much into that if MS were really going to produce a new sim. But its just my thoughts on this.

AMD Phenom II X4 BE 965 @ 3.80GHz
nVidia GTX 560 TI 448 Cores
Re: NEW FS from MS
It will be released on the 29th of February, but it is NOT a replacement for FS9/FSX.

Apples and Oranges Tony. LMC's product is a commercial product based on ESP, not FSX (although ESP is based on FSX in part) and not intended for the general public, thus why it has a $300+ price tag. Flight is intended for the general public. Until Microsoft releases full details on Flight, I'm gonna hold off saying it's not an evolution of FSX (I won't call it a replacement because I don't see it as "revolutionary") until we see what DLC is going to be available.tonymadge wrote:That Lockheed Martin thingy is based on FSX so I doubt they would have put so much into that if MS were really going to produce a new sim.
