New to CBFS

Post by stretch »

Hi all,

This is my first post here on your forum so please bare with me if I haven't followed the recommended guidelines.

Having registered here on 12.03.2012 I thought the other day I'd try and download one of your aircraft, I chose the Vickers Vanguard, lovely aircraft but I was hoping for a VC cockpit, which I know it explain's in comments this aircraft doesn't have! Thing is I keep seeing Photo's on here of all your aircraft and yet when I look for them to download or just get more details on, all I see is a page showing some "cans" which are empty! Except for maybe 3 or 4 aircraft and some scenery, all the other aircraft don't seem to be available.

Have I either not registered for the correct bit of the site or are these aircraft not yet available and still being worked on, or maybe is there a problem with the internet reading the site correctly?

Any help you can give would be greatfully received,

Regards

David Phillips.

Hello David :hello:

Welcome aboard.

I think this is left over from the recent server move.

Some of the library items might still need to be uploaded.

As regards the lack of a Vanguard VC, it's worth remembering that the Vanguard was built for FS2002 and VC's were not the thing then.

Hi David and welcome :hello:

Garry is 100% spot on. I uploaded the Vanguard's in 2 packs initially.. we then had a server failure and these uploaded again but by Ben in a slightly different format. We've recently had another server change and much of the library is yet to be re-uploaded :( Sri for the inconvenience mate. I still have the original versions of the VA release which I'll try and get to my space if you're desperate :)

Thanks all for the welcomes,

It's nice to know there are so many folks with the same interest's. I'm quite happy to wait until you have time to re-populate the site with files again, I was more curious as to why there seemed to be gaps. I wasn't sure if there was a problem my end, your end or the missing aircraft were ones that weren't complete yet.

Anyway thanks for the rapid responses and I'll keep my eyes on the site for future news

Thanks guys,

David Phillips
