Just took the old girl from Lyneham to Cranwell.RMI seemed ok although I don't think the Cranwell ILS (108.5) works in FS9.ADF was ok.I must get more practice using this type of compass in conjunction with the A/P! EricT

Nice as this was for 2002.. the code is darned old now and needs a complete update. I tried changing the mouse tooltips yesterday and you'd not believe what I got! Thank goodness I kept a backup

Not all of the ILS's work in FS from what I remember. Some of the VOR's play at being Tacans too but don't give the right info What's a bloke supposed to do??

Advise ATC of NavAid failure, divert to alternate and report outage to MoT

I now have both the Varsity and Viking installed.I've been using the Varsity for a while but have just tried t'other one.I can't start the Viking engines so far which may be to do with the fact that the fuel icon on the panel doesn't work.Any ideas anyone?
I noticed a couple of other differences.First the cooling gills are animated in the Viking but not the Varsity and secondl that the radio panels are different,the Viking has the default radio panel.
One last query,should the exhaust smoke be visible on engine start?

Reinstalled from the files here but no change.Unable to open the fuel panel using the icon and not able to start engines from a cold start.It maybe that fuel pumps are off but unable to look and see.Doesn't really matter.I'll carry on using the Varsity. EricT
