An incredible display for the crowds

Post by VEGAS »

Hi guys,

You just have to see this young lad control a model Aircraft. A truly magical display. :welldone: :welldone:

Hope you enjoy as much as I did.

There are so many questions I want to ask.. not least of all WTF is a 17yo having that as a toy! I thoroughly enjoyed it but would it be mean of me to hope, toward the end, that he crashed it in a pile of sh1t. I guess it would but that's how I felt

Can't knock the build quality. Wonder what sort of G that little tinker pulled :-O

He seemed to have a shed load of sponsors. I would imagine he paid very little, if anything, for all his kit. *-)

His control is staggering. I can't take that away from him. :agree:

I'm sure there were a few hoping he'd crash.

Same as any sport involving spectators.

Always get the crowds flocking towards the areas of the course renowned for the crashes.

No, there's no taking the boys control away from him.. quite stunning. Had it not gone on quite so long, I wouldn't have been unhappy but the point came where I was thinking 'Enough already'!!

ENOUGH ALREADY!

It must be so boring being in complete control all the time  My little indoor heli does many of those things if I try and fly it outside. However, I am never in control at the time

Nice one Dave ;)

There seems to be a lot of RCing about

Bit like me flying the BEA Whirlwind in FS9 :-O

I wonder how much it costs in wrecked models before you find out you can do that, or in my case can't :worried:

You've hit the proverbial nail on the head mate. He must practise in FS9.. move a heli backwards and in short order, it'll do what he did with the real one hands off

I always admire the ability of RC fliers to flip their sense of left and right as the model flies away or towards them - this young man seems to have no problem in that regard.

The very generous power to weight ratio allowed him some latitude, but everything he did seemed planned and precise. Very good vid ! :guinn:
