SFS Query

Post by Tomliner »

I've now had a few sessions with Fraser's excellent SFS tutorial for the Viscount 800 during which there was a bit of niggling confusion at the back of my mind.Eventually I realised it the functional differences between the Viscount and Vanguard as a result of switching between 1 and 2 on the SFS selector.
I then wondered why on the Vanguard the CDI shows deviations from the opposite radio to that which is selected and assuming that this is how it really worked on the Vanguard, why, or is it down to some limitation in FS9?
Hope this is not a stupid question and that I have made myself clear. :) EricT

Hi Eric :hello:

No.. it's not a stupid question. While I can't give you the correct answer, I think it's something that's been 'on-going' for a long time and as Fraser chips away at the panels, he finds new and better ways around problems and corrects many of these long standing issues. The Vanguard SFS should work as the Viscount (give or take) and I'm sure that it will do one day ;)
