Took Dave's Hunter (actually Peters' Hunter) up tonight in P3D with the REX essentials, thought you might like to see the water....

Hi Peter,

It does move rather well in my opinion, although I haven't seen the mist as shown in your video, thats superb!

I think the thing with all of these simulators and water is that in some scenarios the movement is great, but from other angles it can look wrong. The movement of the water in Flight is superb

Yes Ben,

I know what you mean about the angles...The water in Flight is fairly dead from some directions. To get the best movement you really need to be looking upSun and I have to try hard to do that for my screenshots and videos. I noted from your shots that the water shapes scale better than they do in Flight...The bumps seem to get very small at a distance, as they should do in your shots. If I get far from the water the bumps don't get small enough.

Another improvement they have made in Flight is the scaling of the aircraft's shadow with altitude...In FS9, the shadow is too large when viewed from the aircraft at altitude. In Flight the shadow is much smaller as it should be.

Seems to me that they should apply that same scaling effect to the water bumps
