Thanks to All for the birthday greetings, sorry about the delay answering it is due to weather here.

Saw my birthday in at midnight on the 29th, no I did not wait up for it it was down to a typhoon in the area though not near me, it has rained almost continuously with high winds from am on the 29th.

The typhoon was originally a low pressure area when it was close to Manila and was promoted to tropical depression then tropical storm then typhoon later demoted to tropical storm and has now got its rank of typhoon back. I is actually now now north of the tip of the Philippines heading for China via Taiwan but still getting tail end bits here.

Hopefully it will be gone soon before the next one arrives. Mrs due to fly down south tomorrow to deliver lectures so fingers crossed.
