I somewhat agree with Ben on this.The A380 is quite ugly,it's proportions are not aesthetically pleasing,being designed to fit within the same 'three dimensional box' as the 747.To look pleasing it needs to be much longer.However ,understandably it's the economics which are important.

Indeed
the A.380 is ugly as are all double deckers. They can't really help it as they are always going to be fat and I didn't disagree on the 380 being ugly.
But the 787 is even uglier and it has no reason to be

I wouldn't have ever described the Leyland Atlantean as ugly, I think Fraser might have a different view too lol
