Ouch! I can sympathise with the poor guy.
The other day I opened the passenger-side door of my pickup and a perfectly good bottle of Merlot rolled out and crashed onto the parking lot. $6.99 (tax not included) right down the drain.

Years ago I had one incredibly bad day. I had a number of setbacks on the job including having a very expensive tool break that would eat up all the profits of the job. Finding out I would loose money on another because of someone elses carelessness. All in all I worked about 14 hours that day.
On the way home I decided I'd put it all behind me with a nice steak dinner. I went to the grocery and picked up a rather expensive NY cut, taters, veggies, rolls and a nice pie for desert.
Got home and started cooking it up, had a shower, come back to the kitchen and fixed up my plate. feeling pretty good I sat my plate on the coffee table on a few magazines so I wouldn't put the heat of the plate in the wood finish, turned to get a nice cold glass of milk and heard a "flop". looked back at the table and my plate lay upside down on the carpet.
I was in such a bad state I completely lost my appetite , cleaned up the mess ( about another half hour of work) and went to bed hungry, Without pie!
ahhh but I can laugh about it now

Yes I can see why that would upset you but cheer up, your still ahead by $77,608.01 (minus tax, of course) of the clown that broke the cognac.FlyTexas wrote:Ouch!
