What a difference a week ( or so ) makes. French President gently mocking our medal performance last week...

This week ? Merde ! Les Rosbifs are so cleverrr, they make the bread square to fit the cheese! Never mind Mr Hollande, at least France can usually rely on winning the silver medal...Agincourt, Crecy, Waterloo, Trafalgar... ;)

:agree: Brilliant Paul. Let's not forget how the French practiced for WWII either - :welldone: but without the clapping motion!

I know the event is over now - we will see the all US final tonight here. Dave, if your interested, here is a guide http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/volleyball/16549142

scroll down and there is a brief explanation of the rules. However, I doubt you need to know the rules to really enjoy watching the women! :agree:

Oh for goodness sake!

The Games are full of the fittest women in the world wearing very little other than a film of sweat. The high definition cameras get in very close and personal and you get slo mo repeats of the best bits. What do you think we're all watching it for? You've only got four days left now!
