One thing I noticed about her (the wife did too so it must be true) was that it almost hurt for her to pay Jess Ennis a compliment over the 2 days of her heptathlon. If I noticed it.. it must have been there After each event, instead of saying 'well done Jess.. that's put you in a strong position for the next event', it was always a case of 'Jess did well in that event, but....'.
No doubting she's an attractive wench though. I like Denise Lewis.. and I like Jess Ennis.. but which one's better? There's only one way to find out.... FIGHT!! (apologies for dragging Harry Hill into this)

I saw a lot of this in the television department in the Cambridge branch of John Lewis. I was almost on first name terms with the staff by Wednesday.
