Ah, no. It didn't make it :(

So, in a nutshell, is P3d better, does it fly better, than FSX?
Anyone got P3d and FSX with an Accusim aircraft and can compare?
The reason I make this comparison is Accusim really adds to the realism.

P3D is basically FSX. Your aircraft will look the same in both as they are essentially the same basic thing. They have changed the UI in P3D and it doesn't seem to suffer from stutters, for most people it seems a whole lot smoother. The SDK has some more bits in it over and above the FSX one and they are really working on the Simconnect features to allow commercial companies to write interfaces to other systems, potentially full blown simulators etc.

The most important part is that its being developed. FSX is dead and we've got what we've got with it. P3D is being continually enhanced. Obviously there is a point were the enhancements may be such that they can add to the experience of flying a particular model, but that's likely to be in the future if a model is developed exclusively for P3D. As it stands an FSX model will look / feel the same in FSX or P3D :)

Hope that's a bit clearer :)

Does anyone know if this release included DX10 or 11 compatibility, plus true 3D effects (i.e. 3D lights and smoke etc.)?

Many thanks

Andy
