Red kites, actually. I stumbled across this channel on YouTube, as you do, and have been thoroughly distracted for a better part of the day.
If you've not seen the channel, these lads have access to a fairly high-powered high-speed camera and have made some cracking shorts. This one was fascinating to watch from an aerodynamics perspective; as the kits swooped in you can see the disturbed airflow across their wings and bodies. I have not yet tired of watching this one.

Thanks for that link, Chris. Amazing shots. Technology has a hell of a long way to go to achieve flight dynamics of that order!

Oddly.. this is probably the main thing I miss about not living in Berkshire anymore.. Red Kites. We have Buzzards up here but you need bino's to see the darned things!
